Today and tomorrow GeoSignage CEO Johan Posse is attending the APTA Expo in Orlando, USA. Do not hesitate to use any of our contact forms if you want to arrange a meeting!

We are happy to announce that today the World Expo in Dubai is launched with GeoSignage CMS driving screens on buses moving passengers to and around the Expo. More information to come!

In the next months, GeoSignage deploys a 100-bus project in Scandinavia with one of our long-term customers (using GeoSignage white-labelled CMS solution). As the Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on the world and public transportation, we hope this new business is a sign that things are heading back to normal.

The GeoSignage CMS has long been a very appreciated and reliable system to improve passenger satisfaction in public transport. Now we extend our portfolio with a newly developed Automatic Vehicle Announcement System (AVAS) to help our partners and customers to provide passengers with accurate trip information. Compared to our CMS, our AVAS is a more powerful tool for configuring announcements, which together with our CMS will cover the absolute majority of the market requirements for on-board infotainment.

With the newly developed AVAS GeoSignage can take a larger responsibility towards our partners and customers in order to meet all requirements from public transport authorities.

“This is a great contribution to our portfolio. In the past we seen that potential partners and customers many times associate GeoSignage with only providing a system for on-board advertisements. With our new AVAS, I believe it will be very clear that we truly are an infotainment company offering the entire system suite, providing both passenger information at the right time and place while still enabling commercial opportunities with a powerful CMS for controlling messages and advertisements on-board.” – Carl Schander, Business Development Manager.

One of the benefits with using GeoSignage CMS has always been that the software can be installed and run well on almost any hardware. Time has proven the system to be extremely reliable, which the new AVAS benefits from since both systems use the same system foundation. This makes the GeoSignage AVAS a competitive, user friendly and reliable choice regardless of where in the world the system is to be used.

The GeoSignage AVAS is easily integrated with most existing on-board systems and can be up and running within very short time. Contact our sales department to learn more about how your company can benefit!

A Content Management System, CMS, is software that helps users create, manage, and modify content on a website, in digital signage or similar without the need for specialised technical knowledge. Today there are a broad variety of CMSs on the market, each developed with a specific application in mind.

The GeoSignage CMS is built for public transport from the first line of code. Thanks to this we have a system architecture that ensures extremely reliable operation on-board a vehicle. Running with flaky connectivity is business as usual for us while at the same time ensuring that the data usage is kept at an absolute minimum at all times.

In our system the user plans and controls various media through the web-based user interface. From which it’s easy to configure advanced trigger functionality, plan content to be broadcasted or upload web-applications for a dynamic playback.

Transferring information from our cloud based server to the on-board CPU is then done seamlessly and without any required actions from the user or  administrator.

GeoSignage onboard bus in Riga.

The GeoSignage Content Management System (CMS) has now been operational in Riga, Capital of Latvia, for more than two years. The system is running on more than 600 buses, trams and trolley-buses, where it helps our end-customer, Rigas Acs, to enhance the travellers’ experience and create revenue through onboard advertisement.

The official statement from Gustavs Ozolins, IT Specialist at Rigas Acs, and Andris Tifentals, Operations Director at SW Baltics, describing their experience from using the system and working with GeoSignage through this project:

The Content Management System has always worked very well and we had an easy process setting this up, we have never received any complaints neither from the system operators nor the advertisement company who is also using the CMS.

We share the time for shown media with an advertisement company and we think it’s easy to control what content to display and conduct the planning for the coming weeks.

We are very satisfied with the system and we also know that GeoSignage are very open to providing us with new, customised features if we desire.”

– Gustavs Ozolins, Rigas Acs

“We really appreciate the cooperation with GeoSignage and we value having a partner that we can trust. GeoSignage have always performed what they promised within the set time frame, which makes it very easy for us to work with them.

We highly appreciate the excellent cooperation we have and we look forward to future joint projects.”

– Andris Tifentals, SW Baltics

GeoSignage is proud to be part of this successful project and satisfied that our high focus on customer satisfaction is appreciated by our partners and customers.

GeoSignage is today happy to announce our partnership with Norwegian FourC. From today it is possible for companies to implement the GeoSignage Content Management System (CMS) for infotainment through FourC’s Open Service Platform (OpenSP).

We at GeoSignage are excited to be closer connected to the FourC offer and we believe that our service will be appreciated by FourC’s customers. During the past years we have seen an increased demand for CMSs within public transportation and we believe our software with high focus on reliability and user friendliness will be a welcome add-on to the OpenSP.

The first commercial project together with FourC is already up and running in Hordaland county in Norway. GeoSignage’s CMS will also be displayed at the FourC booth (B3042) during UITP in Stockholm during next week.

Carl Schander, previous application manager with focus on business development and customer relations, joins the team. Carl will work on strengthening GeoSignage commercial offer and ensure that the company  keeps the focus on the customers’ needs and requirements also in the future.
